How does double glazing reduce noise?
We have already discussed the benefits of double glazing is an excellent source of insulation. The extra pane of glass will also reduce the amount of noise coming into your home. Ideal if you live in a built-up area, or next to a busy road. Sound is produced through vibrations, travelling from the source to our ears. By adding an extra pane of glass, that sound wave becomes less audible.
